February 17-23, 2017
We generally have students contact us with dates that fit in their schedules for this workshop. If you are interested in taking this workshop, please let us know what dates would suit you. We are very accommodating.
Taught by: Amanda Taylor
Cost: $1275.00 – Includes all materials
We have all been inspired by geometric shapes (hexagons, pentagons, trapezoids, etc.) and their existence in nature, especially naturally occurring geometric shapes: honeycombs.
This proves to be an exciting and unique 7-day workshop. Students will be working with Schott and Bullseye glass rod and sheet glass and use a variety of enamel paints to create our palette of colors which will be then transformed into a variety of forms. Vitrigraph can will be created during the workshop as well and incorporated into the projects. All of the initial projects will be transformed into other forms via cold working, re-assemblage techniques, casting, deep vessel and drop forms.
