2012 Special events at Oatka School of Glass

Added Two New Weekend Workshops

Creative Designer Glass Platters – May 19-20, 2012 – Noon to 4pm each day

 

Growing Wild:  Leaf Designed Fused Glass Plate – May 13, 2012 – Noon to 4pm.

 

 

Drop-In Workshops – Open Studio Time

Every Wednesday 10am-8pm; Every Saturday & Sunday 10am-5pm.

Even if you’ve never worked with glass before, you’ll be able to make your own glass work of art!  All you have to do is show up!  We have pre-cut base circles and squares, frit, dots, stringers, noodles, strips, squares, and pre-cut shapes for you to combine in your own original design.  We even have an a library of idea books and slideshow of images if you need some inspiration!

We have hosted work “Team Building” sessions, birthdays, girls night out, girl scout troops, boy scouts, wedding showers, garden clubs, art clubs, library programs, seniors homes, home schooling requirement classes.  Kids and adults alike have a blast.  The groups that schedule evening events and bring snacks and drinks have definitely enjoyed themselves.  Just call to schedule your group.

Prices depend on project selection - List of “Drop-In” projects and pricing.

Group or Family Experience: $15.00/pp Max: 25

Most Saturdays – 1:00-2:00pm – PLEASE PHONE TO BOOK YOUR GROUP.

Enjoy a glassblowing demonstration with your entire family. Only $15 per person every Saturday from 1:00-2:00 pm. Come in and make fused glass pendants for only $10 more per person. Share this unique experience with your group or whole family!!!

On the last Friday of every month, except for December, we welcome you to join us for an evening of glass AND friends. Spend three hours in our glassblowing studio to experience an introductory taste of working with hot glass.
